Junior Club is a welcoming and inclusive space for children aged 7β12 with Special Educational Needs. Held at The Bungalow, Outwood Academy Greystones Primary in Ripon, Junior Club provides a safe and supportive environment where children can relax, socialise, and take part in fun activities designed just for them.
What to Expect
At Junior Club, we focus on creating a relaxed and engaging space where children can build confidence, make friends, and enjoy a variety of activities at their own pace:
Arts & Crafts Activities: Led by Paul, who also runs our Teen Club, children will have the opportunity to take part in different arts and crafts activities each session. There will always be something creative to try, but participation is completely optional.
Games & Social Time: Junior Club is a great place for children to spend time with others, play games, chat, and develop friendships in a supportive environment.
Relaxed & Flexible Environment: We understand that every child is different, so children are free to join activities if they wish or simply enjoy the space in a way that feels comfortable for them.
Supportive Setting: Our team creates a calm, understanding environment where children feel safe, accepted, and able to be themselves.
For Parents and Carers
Parents and carers stay for the session, giving families the chance to relax, enjoy a drink, and connect with others who understand the unique journey of raising a child with SEND. Junior Club offers a welcoming community where families can chat, share experiences, and support one another while the children play, create, and socialise nearby.
